Why Am I Starting a Blog

It is a little ironic that in the age of AI scraping the internet for everything, I’d choose to write. I guess I don’t care if my writing gets used to train GPT-5. Not sure it would actually make it better. But moreso, I don’t want to lose information on Instagram, Facebook, or some other big tech company. Here at least the files will remain, and maybe I’ll even be able to keep the links alive for some time. I make no guarantees.

Really I want to be able to scream into the void about the cool backpacking that happens. Half ADHD fever-dream and half sharing the cool things I see. I apologize in advance.
