Tahoe Rim Trail

I got an invite I couldn’t turn down. A friend from the John Muir Trail asked me to join them for the Tahoe Rim Trail. I was still adjusting to being off trail after the JMT and I missed the trail. A quick chat with my boss, and while I couldn’t get another whole week, I’d gotten a few days alongside a weekend. I’d meet them near Brockway Summit and depart at Kingsbury.

Despite the cold, the weather held out. I continued the trend of never pitching my tarp, and I got to see some pretty fall folliage.
